MONTHLY FORECASTS

DELIRIOUS DECEMBER

SAGITTARIUS:

If you have been feeling stuck in some aspect of your life, you can expect things to pick up or to somehow be resolve the second half of this month. This holiday season family issues should also be resolved more to your liking than ever before. Travel plans could well change, at least in part, for reasons beyond your control. This may be a good time to re-evaluate business or career matters with perhaps a fresh start in mind for the coming new year. A raise or promotion is a definite possibility. Those in charge should be on your side at this time, with thoughts and ideas well received. Water or a plumbing issue might well arise and prove to be something of a nuisance. Romantic attractions increase as the month progresses. In fact, an old love may reappear and have your head spinning about exactly what to do about the situation! There could be a definite dilemma on that score.

CAPRICORN:

Romantic possibilities may be plentiful this month, along with abundant social invitations. You should be looking good and feeling pretty good as well. And you may discover a not-so-secret admirer!  How about that? Too bad that someone in the family is acting less than congenial this holiday season. Simply rise above the situation the way that you usually do and you should be just fine. An old friend may come to your aid or lend a much needed listening ear. You should be able to depend upon your friends at this time. Watch your temper as the month progresses as MARS squares your Sun, since you could run irritable and out of sorts to some degree. You will not be up to taking any sort of nonsense from most people this holiday season. Pettiness might aggravate you at this time. Travel plans could be fraught with last minute changes. Try to be patient now.

AQUARIUS:

You could run a touch feisty at this time, especially where your neighbors and siblings are concerned. But you could just as easily apologize and talk things over later in the month.  Original ideas should abound for you this month. Write them down to use later if not at that very moment in time. Easy money may fall right into your hands. An old love may reappear and find you most alluring! Good luck with that situation! I hope you find him/her alluring too. You may also reach an important goal at this time: The completion of a project, perhaps? Your thinking tends to be more serious now than at other times. It might be a good time to keep a journal to help you keep track of your thoughts and ideas. There is a pickup in your energy at this time where you also feel like accomplishing more in order to get the job done right. An old creative/artistic project deserves another look!

PISCES:

There are important lessons for you to learn this month, once and for all! You should have a fair sense of self-disciple to do whatever needs doing at this time, lots of carry through is available to you. However, watch over-spending on holiday gift-giving, since the bills come due next month. A long trip to see family members and old friends should be fun and heart-warming, a return trip to a place you have been to before. Your creative juices should be flowing pretty good, so take some time to create, design, paint, draw or write something down. Reunions could run to the extreme at this time, with more than just the holidays involved, since even an old love could show up when you least expect it. Sudden advancement is possible in terms of your career. Even a new job or a new position is possible now. Research is also favored now, with exciting discoveries part of the deal.

ARIES:

This should be an exciting month for you in general. There may well be favor from those in high places, but you will be expected to work hard and put your best foot forward. The boss or an elder may not give you all the praise you might like to hear about now to feel appreciated, but my advice is to simply grin and bear it! Romance may bloom in the work place, but combining work and pleasure is not always a wise decision or the most comfortable situation for everyone concerned, especially when the bloom falls off the rose!  You may run more than a little feisty as the month progresses as MARS moves into the opposition to your Sun and squares with PLUTO, which is particularly true for the earlier Aries birthdays.  Expect some sort of emergency to arise and it could involve a parent or elder. Partnerships may be put to the ultimate test this month. Please watch your temper.

TAURUS:

Out-of-body travel may be a given this month. No airfare needed for traveling throughout the cosmos. Regular travel could also be enjoyable at this time. Unusual dreams are probably another certainty, and pay especially close attention to your intuition this month. The Still Small Voice should serve you well and protect you. Romance with a foreigner or in a faraway place is quite likely at this time, though it might not necessarily be of a lasting nature. But life is filled with risks, is it not? This one is your call. Partnerships present a push-pull pattern this month, this coming year, with a serious tone to conversations and decision making. A change in your philosophy or belief system may not be so slow in coming or too subtle in essence. It is a time for “aha” and somewhat dramatic insights. A parent or elder may be cause for concern and need your assistance.

GEMINI:

Here you are in your opposition time again where the other person has the distinct advantage. So please try to listen and pay attention to what others are saying to you and doing right in front of you. Pay attention! Work decisions can be made now that may involve hiring or firing, or changing classes or teachers for the student. The path directly in front of you may be a touch clouded for the earlier Gemini. Tread water for the moment and wait for the Sun to come out, for it will! Then you can make a wise and intelligent decision. Travel might prove more expensive than anticipated earlier this month, but you should still have a fun time. Group activities prove mixed this holiday season, some fun, some glum. But your energy should be up with you raring to go for the most part. Some people around you may come unglued, however, so be kind.

CANCER:

Trust your instincts at this time and pay close attention to your inner voice of intuition. There are those around you trying to manipulate you or a particular situation to their advantage. If that is all right with you, fine. But be aware. Career changes hold an element of uncertainty now. It might be best not to leave a job unless you have something else lined up first. A new romance may come to you through work or school, but it might be wise to think twice before jumping right in at this time. Impulse is running strong for the moment. Also, please watch your temper. You are somehow in a push-pull situation with work, school, or perhaps a relationship. Take your time to come to terms and try not to allow others to push you around too much. A change of direction or pace right now may prove to be a true breath of fresh air. Enjoy the holidays to your liking!

LEO:

Your Muse awaits the chance to assist you with your creative impulse: Paint, draw, compose, design or write to your heart’s content. Romance is also in the vicinity and could shows up quite unexpectedly. Surprise! Time spent with your family should be pleasant indeed this holiday season. Travel may involve returning to past haunts and hanging out with old friends, sweetly reminiscing. A hefty purchase this holiday season might involve something that truly lasts and provides hours of enjoyment. Hard work pays off now, perhaps with a year-end bonus, a raise or promotion of sorts. Stress with some family members is possible at this time. Deep, serious discussions could resolve any issues this month. Property matters may come to your attention as well. It might be a good time to buy, sell or refinance.

VIRGO:

Early this month is a good time for serious writing and serious and meaningful conversations with your near and dear ones. Brilliant ideas may well be yours as the month progresses. Research is highly favored now, especially with regard to an artistic or creative project. Reunions with old friends may include an old love who tries to rekindle an almost forgotten flame. Will you or won’t you? Your call! There could be a major purchase for the home at this time or even the sale or purchase of property itself. Investments may also pay off handsomely at this time, but try to guard against impulse. Romance is looking good for you about now, so if not an old love then a new love might do just fine. Self-discipline is on your side to get a job done. Start new projects well before Christmas, please, or you may have too many pots boiling at the same time.

LIBRA:

This may not be the best time for you to take on remodeling or refurbishing the house. Why not just move the furniture around until the arrangement suits you better and check out the sales after Christmas or at the first of the New Year? A lover’s quarrel is not out of the question this month. Perhaps you can agree to disagree for now? A lover or child might just ruffle your feathers a touch, but try to talk it through before you jump to a rash or hotheaded conclusion. This is a good time for a long talk with a partner or spouse. Important agreements could be reached at this time. This is also an excellent time to review your budget and perhaps to get rid of a debt at this time? Important forward movement in the career department indicates long term benefits rather that short term gains.  Work related travel is highly likely now, but you’ll have a good time nonetheless.

SCORPIO:

You will be up for several serious talks this month, which should be exactly to your liking. Leadership is marked at this time, something that sets you apart and perhaps puts you on a podium. You will tend to wax philosophical, of course, with perhaps brilliant ideas pouring out of your mouth, even to your own surprise. Kudos!  Creative self-expression is strong at this time, so why not write it all down or design or paint? A sudden windfall may be financial in essence and rather helpful, or perhaps everyone is simply telling you how good you look or paying you compliments in great numbers. Enjoy! Congratulations! A dream you have could have special significance for you, so write down your dreams this month. The holiday season brings a special blessing to you.

WERE YOU EVER FED TO THE LIONS

IN A PAST LIFE, OF COURSE?

Instead of copying and pasting from my book I'm telling the story again...in my own words:

Commencing with November of 1969, my daughter Tomi and my son Mark and I moved into a house in Sherman Oaks, California, owned by Noel Marshall and his actress wife, Tippi Hedren. The house had once belonged to Tippi's parents. It was a charming three bedroom, two bath home, with a den and two fireplaces, on a dead end street, and we had a 40 foot swimming pool that filled up most of the backyard. My kids were young and that pool got lots of use during the hot valley summers, until we moved out in the spring of 1973.

To my knowledge, it was during those years that Tippi and Noel started their wild animal park somewhere out on the outskirts of the San Fernando Valley. They had mostly lions, also tigers, and a bear. They were hand-raising some lion cubs, and that thought used to make me rather nervous when I really thought about it.

You see...my first past life recall was of being an early Christian being led into a Roman arena by these two centurions. In the middle of the coliseum, I was tied to stake, and then, an aging gladiator was brought out to join me in the arena, with one sword placed on the ground before him. And then, these five, ferocious-looking, hungry lions were released into the arena for the crowd's lunchtime entertainment. And guess who was on the menu?  (Detailed story in the book.)

For that reason, on the day that Noel called me about borrowing our Pontiac station-wagon to take this male lion back to the compound during evening rush hour, I did hesitate. It seems that the trainer's van had broken down, and they really needed to get the lion back to the compound after an afternoon of shooting pictures of the beast in their lush backyard.

"You can borrow my station-wagon on one condition...that you bring the lion by the house for Tomi and Mark to see before you take him out to your compound."

"I'll bring the lion by the house on the condition that you lock your dogs and cats inside. The lion would see your animals as prey, and then we might have a serious problem on our hands."

Smokey Joe (the magnificent cat), and Irving, the adorable, black cock-a-poo were safely locked inside the house, with all the windows securely closed and re-checked to make sure.

Soon, Noel pulled into our driveway, with the trainer in the passenger seat of our station-wagon, and this magnificent-looking, young, male lion, with his luxurious mane, sprawled out in back. Noel rolled down the back electric window, which made my heart beat a touch faster at that particular moment, as the glorious, young, king of the beasts carefully observed me and my two children, and I secretly prayed that none of the neighbors' animals would come outside and cause a serious problem.

That was when my Scorpio son Mark hovered just the other side of the yucca plant, as my gutsy daughter Tomi, with her three planets in the sign of Leo the Lion, petted the nose of the noble beast through the opened window of our car. I decided to pass on petting the  lion, since my memories of Rome still sent shivers up and down my spine even after 2,000 years.

It must have been some sight for all the other motorists, driving home from work through the rush hour traffic, to see a regal male lion quietly observing them through the clear glass windows of our white, Pontiac station-wagon.

There are other stories about Noel and Tippi and their lions in my memoir, in addition to many other stories about my life in general in the world of the paranormal--as the saga of my life continues.

NEVER READ FOR YOUR LOVER!

In my memoir are lots of different stories about my life, a few about the men I've known named Michael: Clients, friends, and lovers. One of my famous clients was the late author Michael Crichton, who sent me many people for readings, some of whom were also famous Hollywood personalities. However, the Michael I want to write about today was a country-western singer I met at an A.R.E. conference at Asilomar in Pacific Grove, California, around 1970.  Michael wrote songs and played guitar. Sitting on the sand dunes near the peaceful, blue Pacific, he played his guitar and sang to me--beneath blue summer skies that matched his blue eyes. Michael was a Pisces, and as you can see, he was very romantic.

At the time I was living in Sherman Oaks in Southern California; Michael lived in West Covina. In those days he sang in various lounges of the Hungry Tiger restaurants. In my urgent desire to help him launch his professional career, because he could really sing, I was dragging various friends and clients to the Hungry Tiger for his weekend performances. And at the time my clients were telling him what a great psychic I was. Naturally, Michael wanted me to read his cards.

I had only been doing readings less than four years, but nonetheless, I had this strong sense that it might not be such a good idea to read for a man I was dating. When people give me permission to "read" for them I tend to see just about everything going on around them. And, against my better judgment, on our kitchen table that summer I gave Michael a reading. Among other things I saw in his cards was the following:

"You're going to meet a redheaded, Scorpio woman, five years older than you, divorced with two children, a boy and a girl, and after a whirlwind romance you're going to marry her within eight weeks. On top of that, you'll have a son together." AND...what I had just said perfectly described me and my children. Michael and I had been dating for about six weeks by then. I stared at his cards in genuine amazement, feeling fully at a loss.

Michael sat there staring at me with his face flushed red.

"I don't know if I'm talking about myself, Michael. Honest, I don't. This is going to happen within the next six to 18 months." I felt so very uncomfortable...I didn't know what else to say to him.

Well, right after that Michael stopped calling and taking my calls. I had also seen a brunette Capricorn woman in his cards. Needless to say, I was devastated when he dumped me. And I honestly didn't know if I was the woman in his cards.

That Labor Day Weekend, my actress friend Susan Strasberg and I drove up Route 1 into the Big Sur in 450 SL Mercedes. We were lucky to get a room at an inn. We had dinner at Nepenthe's, sipping wine and discussing all the men in our lives who had broken our hearts at one time or another, including our ex-husbands. Each day we would meditate under the trees, with me continuing to feel so devastated and forlorn because of Michael. On the last day, we hiked up a trail to where we could see the sparkling, blue Pacific, and I sat down in my poor me mode again, thinking how alone and unloved I was...when all of a sudden, this powerful surge of energy swept straight through me clear up through the top of my head, with this direct realization that filled my entire being:

I was not alone. I had never ever been alone. There were myriad beings surrounding me that were evolving the same as I was. I would never ever be alone again!

My experience was COSMIC and indelibly imprinted in my mind FOREVER. Talk about getting over a guy fast! And meanwhile, I'd also learned that in the past few months Michael had hit on two of my closest girlfriends, both named Susan, probably reason enough to forget about him as well.

To wit: Eleven years later, country-singing Michael called me for a reading. I was surprised, but also rather curious. His singing career had never really amounted to much, unfortunately, when he had a great deal of promise. And, interestingly, he was divorced.

Guess what?

Six months after Michael broke up with me, he was singing in the lounge at Harrah's Club in Reno, Nevada, when he met a redheaded, Scorpio woman, five years older than him, divorced with two kids, a boy and a girl, and he married her within eight weeks.

BINGO!

Of course, that day he also said that he should have married me instead of her. That his son should be my son. Sure!

That was when I told Michael about my experience of BEING LOVE in the Big Sur; how I needed to thank him for forcing me to seek out one of the most profound spiritual experiences of my entire life.

Since then, I NEVER give readings to men I date. NEVER READ FOR YOUR LOVER, since you're likely to find out things you'd rather not know about!  But I did give Michael an accurate reading, didn't I?

My memoir was both a joy and a pain for me to write. Retracing the events and circumstances of my life was very sobering, interesting, enlightening, at times amusing, and overall highly thought provoking on a rather personal level.  And yet, the memoir is mainly the story of my journey into the realm of the supernatural and the paranormal where I became a somewhat well known psychic. Writing the book made me think a lot about how I wished I had done some things much differently, and yet, also of how very much I had learned every step along the way, something that doesn't stop as long as you continue to live your life on this planet. In writing my memoir I also learned how much my consciousness was forced to grow in so many different ways through meeting extraordinary people and spiritual teachers and experiencing countless magical and astonishing events.

The main reason I wrote the memoir to begin with is because my four eldest grandchildren kept encouraging me to write down all the many interesting tales I had to tell them whenever we had lunch or dinner together without their parents. I'm very proud of all seven of my grandchildren. My daughter Tomi's four children: Oliver, 31, Jonah, 29, Lydia and Shaina, 26, are all college graduates. Oliver graduated from Colgate and got his MBA at Columbia. Jonah is about to graduate from St. John's law school. Lydia graduated from Bennington and is working on her PhD in anthropology in New York. Shaina graduated from Vassar. It was back in 2006 that I first began to write what was finally to be called COSMIC CONSPIRACY - Psychic to the Rich and Famous.

The reason for the subtitle is from the first psychic I ever saw back in 1964. As I walked into his room, George Darius blurted out, "You're going to be a famous psychic to the rich and the famous. You're going to travel the world, be on television and radio, be written up in newspapers, magazines and various books," and George went on and on about my future fame and strange accomplishments. At that particular moment, I thought the man was  bonkers. I didn't even try to give a psychic reading for another two years, and when my first reading to my good friend Carol turned out to be absolutely accurate--I was utterly and completely stunned, to say the very least!

By 1965 I was working as a secretary at 20th Century Fox Studios in West Los Angeles, so at least there were prospects for me to meet the rich and the famous. In fact, I met actress Susan Strasberg while I was working on my first TV show, "The Legend of Jesse James," on the Culver City lot. Susan was then married to actor Christopher Jones who was portraying Jesse James. During the following year, 1966, Susan became one of my guinea pigs as I attempted to read regular playing cards, while still being secretly incredulous of my ability to do so. That was long before I discovered the power and the majesty contained within the archetypal symbolism of the magical, mystical, meaningful Tarot

At the time I never dreamed I would one day write a book called THE WHEEL OF DESTINY - The Tarot Reveals Your Master Plan, which was finally published in 1991. My confidence in writing such a book was tremendously lacking in the early years of my career into the strange, the paranormal, past lives and future possibilities involving countless interesting and many celebrated individuals. I've probably read for more than 40,000-50,000 people over the years, and it has been a fascinating and sometimes surprising journey for me and for them from the very first reading until this very day!

A few of my more celebrated clients included Shirley MacLaine, Goldie Hawn, Peter Sellars, Michael Crichton, Ted Lange, Gregory Sierra, Sharon Gless, Rosemarie Stack, Rona Barrett, Diane Ladd, designer Carushka, Joan Teweksbury, Richard Romanus, Judith Krantz, Gilda Marx, Alan Ladd Jr., Charles Newirth, senators, congressmen, cabinet members and others from all walks of life all around the world! It has been an interesting journey!

My latest novel, PASSION AND PRINCIPLE, is receiving wonderful responses from my readers and reviewers:

This is the story of Mary Margaret Kathleen Kelly O’Reilly, a young Pagan Catholic born with a veil (second sight) in Dingle, Ireland in 1798. This romantic historical tale begins in an Ireland still under British rule, with the oppression of Roman Catholics, and great bitterness among the Irish people, who desire most of all freedom from the British Crown. Our heroine’s life has many twists and turns, numerous triumphs and tragedies. At a young age, Maggie finds herself torn between her passion for her young smuggler and a handsome soldier of the Crown. The story is rich in the history and drama of the 1800s in Ireland, Europe and America between 1798 and 1871.
"The Irish hold a special place in the formation of America. They crossed the Atlantic with a passion for living to make a difference in their new world. Such is story of Mary Margaret Kathleen Kelly O'Reilly, born with special powers to see beyond what others might see. She lived her life fully with conviction and knowledge of what wonders lay ahead. Her story evolves from immigrant struggles, to seeking justice for slaves and women, while raising a family full of tragedy, love, laughter and humility. It's the story of America and the people who made this country great."

A Great Romance!

The author of this book did an amazing job at creating a beautiful book that opens your mind to the world of Ireland. The book is a romantic tale which moves along quite quickly, and even though it is a longer book, I found that I was thoroughly intrigued enough to keep wanting to read page after page. The characters in the book were strong and especially the heroine is a character that, though she has had to overcome much, works hard to overcome this and finds love in the end. Overall, if you enjoy romance and historical fiction, you will enjoy reading this!

Wonderful book!

By Katie S.

Patricia McLaine has outdone herself! Passion and Principle is the kind of story that grabs the reader's interest immediately and once begun, the book is impossible to put down. I found myself so intrigued by the adventures of the heroine, Maggie, and all the colorful characters and vivid descriptions of Irish life and history that hours of reading flew by without notice. Passion and Principle is a must read, and you will not be disappointed!
Facebook 12/9/2012: I'm reading Passion and Principle, almost finished. This is one of the very best books I have ever read. It is right up there with Gone With The Wind. I love the characters and the setting in Ireland in the 1800's. I hope she writes more books like this. I am totally hooked. A mini series or movie would be nice too, but you have to read the book first.                                                        Aileen, Arkansas

Email:  I'm reading Passion and Principle right now. Oh my!  I don't want the saga to end!                          Kathy, Portland, Oregon

Email 11/19/2012: Finished Passion and Principle. I love that book. My dad's favorite was Uncle Tom's Cabin. I thought I would be Topsy when I grew up. The rest of this book is a feast I devoured in two and a half days. I'm amazed I know the author. Thank you so much for writing this book.                                              Caroline, VA

READING THE AKASHIC RECORD

Since the Tarot is my specialty, and I'm a graduate of Builders of the Adytum, The Temple of Sacred Tarot and Holy Qabalah, my way of explaining spiritual patterns is often through using one or more Tarot Keys and a whole lot of astrology.  Key 8, STRENGTH, among many other things, represents the astrological sign of LEO. The sign LEO rules important parts of the body when it comes to READING THE AKASHIC RECORD. In fact, one thing assigned to this key is the glamor and drama associated with the ASTRAL LIGHT. All things exist within the ASTRAL LIGHT, and all patterns, past, present, and future, exist for viewing in the AKASHIC RECORD, where all that ever was, is, or will be exists for those with eyes to see in a truly broad and amazing sense.

LEO rules the heart, the upper back, and the spine where the Kundalini energy, or Serpent Power, at the appropriate time, rises up through the 7 sacred chakras from its location at the base of the spine. This type of action is necessary on some level to access the AKASHIC RECORD, for the record actually exists within your microcosm of the Macrocosm in your spinal nerves and the various chakras (or spiritual centers) from the base of your spinal column to the top of your head, your Crown. Since LEO is ruled by the Sun, this Key also governs the Solar Plexus located in the center of your body, the body's brain involved with those gut feelings you receive about how to act or not to act. When I give psychic readings, this is the brain I pay the closest attention to, although I may receive visions for my client in my third eye, or the frontal portion of my brain as well. For me, my entire body becomes a receiving station for my client during the time of the reading.

The Kundalini energy of the Hindus, or the Serpent Power, is the evolutionary energy of life. Key 8, STRENGTH, has a whole lot to do with the serious development of character, backbone, honesty, and the courage needed to face the various challenges of life on the physical plane, in addition to in worlds beyond Time and Space. A pure heart is an absolute prerequisite for anyone desirous of reading the AKASHIC RECORD. (Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8,) There must be no evil intent in the heart or mind of those who seek such a gift, and this is a large order when it comes right down to it. True compassion is the better part of love that lives on forever, which is why all Heart Masters are referred to as Masters of Compassion.

Sitting still in meditation, with the back and spine erect and properly aligned, helps the individual soul to attune their chakras and thereby access the AKASHIC RECORD when the need arises. If there is malice or evil intent the way will surely be blocked. Key 8, STRENGTH, also deals with generation and regeneration as in reincarnation. READING THE AKASHIC RECORDS is how past lives are accessed so that the necessary lessons may be learned to make greater progress in the present lifetime. A soul is usually unable to access past lives until he or she is ready to see the good, the bad, and the ugly in order to transmute and transform into a better person during a lifetime.

The Mysteries remain forever mysteries to souls without a positive, constructive level of character or insufficient spiritual development to deal with the information contained within the AKASHIC RECORD. The information will be revealed when you have progressed to an acceptable level in terms of your own soul. Please avoid taking the dark path, for you will simply have to retrace your steps to eventually return through the straight and narrow way that leads directly to the LIGHT.
