LIFE AFTER DEATH - Personal Experience

This is an email from a client about her usual experience with spirit contact:

In my early 20's I had a major love relationship with a beautiful but difficult Italian. Richard Angelo was a Vietnam Vet and terribly mentally wounded from events of that war. We met in D.C., and after a year, I moved to L.A. to try to end my longing for him as it was just too painful. There were some back and forth situations for many years. Finally, I made a clean break. He couldn't find me to make contact again.

Thirty years later and again living in Knoxville, I started thinking of him. For several weeks it almost drove me crazy. I would push the thoughts out of my mind as that painful chapter had ended long ago. However, I could not stop thinking: Is he okay? Did he marry? Is he happy and well?

One evening, as my mind filled with him, I said aloud and alone in my house: All right! All right!! I could not remember the area code for his hometown of Grand Rapids so I got the phone book and looked it up. I called information. He was not listed, but his father was. I made the call and his dad answered. When I told his dad it was me (he remembered me and was well into his 80's by then). I asked how Richard was doing. He started crying and I knew something had happened.

His mother took the phone and told me that Richard had died several weeks earlier. He was a heroin addict and his bodily organs had failed. She said he had never married. I thought it was sweet that she wanted me to know this. I gave her my address to send me the card from the Catholic Church with his name, birth and death dates. She also sent me a picture of him in his early thirties when he was healthy and requested that I call his sister. She said she had something spiritual to tell me.( my number is unlisted and I had not given it to her ).

I called his sister. She told me I was the signal that he was all right. Before he went into a coma they had brainstormed for a sign he would give from the Other Side. He said, "I will have Pattye call, as she hasn't called in thirty years." If I had called when he first came into my mind, it would have been just after his death. Because I resisted it was approximately two weeks after he died. This call touched his family deeply and helped them in their grief.

A few days after our conversation I had a special dream. I still remember it vividly. There was a colorful party and Richard walked up to me. He embraced me and kissed me deeply. I looked at him and said, "Oh, Richard, why couldn't it have always been this way?" He just smiled as if he knew something I could not understand. I woke up. I felt so nourished and loved.  It was a nice thank you and a lovely hello.

LIFE AFTER DEATH - Do you believe?

Quite recently, my novel, THE RECYCLING OF ROSALIE, that I orginally wrote in 1975, and finally published in 1999 after my dear friend Susan Strasberg died, was just turned into a Kindle version on Amazon for $4.99. I'm selling the hard copies of the books I have left for $9.95 (5.5 x 8.5 paperback, 220 pages, original price $12.95). Plus, anyone interested in joining my email pattie5588@yahoo.com list and database may receive a free copy of the novel from me! What a deal!

THE RECYCLING OF ROSALIE is a funny love story about life and love after death and reincarnation complete with astral workers, guardian angels, and a cosmic mother figure. Naturally, my story is an imaginative fantasy rendition of the Other Side with lots of humor. I started out writing stories in spiral notebooks by 5th grade, and as a senior in high school I wrote my first play, SIDNEY, a romantic comedy of the naive variety. The play won a contest in the Mormon Church, second place, and was later published by Eldridge Publishing. Royalties were received for several years, but the play has been out of print for quite a while now. I sometimes wonder if it is still produced by the young people in wards of the Mormon Church. The prize money was $220, which amounted to a month's salary when I was 19. I was thrilled at the time.

I may never have finished writing Rosalie if my good friend, actress Susan Strasberg, hadn't looked forward to each and every new chapter from April until October of 1975. There were three film options, the first in 1976, others in 1980 and 1986. There was more film interest in 1997. And more recently a Hollywood producer read my script. However, I'm still waiting for George Darius' prediction to come true that my story will be a "major motion picture." And the book would probably never have been published if Susan hadn't died in January 1999 when I thought she had been healed of her cancer. I actually decided I'd better publish my story before the Angel of Death came calling for me!

None of us really look forward to changing dimensions, either from this one to that one, or from that one back to this. Physicist Stephen Hawkings is in for quite a surprise when his brilliant mind finally convinces his soul to relinquish his sadly diseased body. In my opinion, he should go through some past life regression to discover the reasons for his extreme infirmity. He certainly has a brilliant mind that in some aspects is also crippled by a definite lack of cosmic consciousness. His spirit guides need to work on that! I'm talking about the recent article where Stephen claims that stories of life after death are simply fairy tales. Poor Stephen!

I'm sure Stephen Hawkings would consider me to be quite insane, since I have lived my life as a clairvoyant, tarot reader, and astrologer making predictions for the future for thousands of individuals, in addition to tuning into their past lives as other personalites in a multitude of different cultures on this planet. Plus the fact that I have seen nature spirits, angels, and dead people who aren't really dead, of course. No one ever really dies, except to our dimension of awareness. Those on the Other Side may also, to an extent, miss those souls who reincarnate for another round on this magnificent though sometimes difficult planet. Life out of the body is known to be easier than life in the body. But this is the only place to realize your earthly hopes and dreams. You're not concerned about those things out of the body. Only on the planet do you have the opportunity to completely and totally screw up! Or not!

Throughout the years I have received both humorous and astonishing stories from my clients about predictions I have made in regard to the passing of a near and dear one. (Since I'm a Scorpio I tend to be very good at predicting death!) I told one Virginia client named Lyn of the possible passing of her elderly father this year, and it happened in March. It seems Lyn's father was very fond of his house and had often told his children that he planned to take the house with him when he died. Everyone humored the old gent. Then, lo and behold, on the evening of his actual death the house burned to the ground. So her father did, in fact, take the house with him! You might want to pay closer attention to the comments of the elders in your family. Those close to death are often more in touch with the future and the past.

The same week I did another reading for Lyn, another client named Emily in Tennessee had another reading and told me of the passing of her elderly father. I had predicted his possible passing in her reading in 2010. Emily had a magical experience about a week after her father's death. She has a rather large house and some small bird flew into the house and stared walking around. Emily wanted to get the bird out of the house without harming it, so she got a towel and hoped to catch the bird. Lo and behold, when she got near the bird it simply flew into her outstretched hands. To wit, she carried the bird out of the house and it flew away, but not before walking (not flying) up to the door it had originally entered by and taking a good long look at her. It was later that she realized her father had visited her in the form of the bird. But he never burned his house down, thank heavens!

After the transition (or passing) of my spiritual teacher, Ann Davies, in 1975, which actually happened in June while I was still writing THE RECYCLING OF ROSALIE, I attended her memorial service at the BOTA temple in Los Angeles. During the break, outside having a cigarette (quit 1980), there were different groups of people talking about Ann as this ornate white dove (or pigeon with curlecue feathers) started walking all around the people on the sidewalk. Later, socializing, many of us had noticed the fancy dove and we somehow knew it was Ann checking out what was being said about her by her students.

In my memoir, COSMIC CONSPIRACY - Psychic to the Rich and Famous, (Amazon, 6 x 9 paperback, 418 pages, $17.90, Kindle $8.99) I have a chapter "The Angel of Death" where I discuss many strange and wonderful occurrences with regard to dear ones in the afterlife. Some clients have received white feathers, others rose petals, or coins from the dearly departed. One client always receives brand new copper pennies. I heard my mother call my name about 12 hours after her death when I was 21 and 7 and a half months pregnant with my daughter. I'm sure my mother has helped to look after her granddaughter and that she is very proud of Tomi's accomplishments.

Please share your stories about your dearly departed. I know life is eternal and I pity those who have not yet seen the Light!  I'll have another story for you soon and it's really quite amazing ... from another client in Tennessee!
